thefundraiser.ca is a digital fundraising platform that enables:

• Businesses to submit promotional offers (“Coupons”)
   
• Fundraising groups to sell access to city-based digital coupon campaigns
   
• Supporters to purchase digital access to those campaigns
   

All products are digital unless otherwise stated.

By using the Website, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years old, or have legal authority to act on behalf of a business or group
   
• You are legally capable of entering into binding agreements in Canada
   
• All information you provide is accurate and complete
   

If you create an account or participate in a campaign, you are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
   
• All activity that occurs under your account
   
• Promptly notifying us of unauthorized use
   

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

• All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated
   
• Payments are processed through secure third-party payment processors (such as Stripe)
   
• thefundraiser.ca does not store full credit card or banking details
   

By completing a purchase, you authorize us and our payment processors to charge the applicable amount.

Access to digital fundraising campaigns is delivered electronically and typically immediately upon purchase.

Because digital access is provided instantly:

• All sales are final, except where required by law
   
• Refunds are not issued for unused, expired, or partially used coupons
   
• Individual business offers and redemption experiences do not qualify for refunds

• Coupons are created and provided by participating businesses
   
• Each business sets its own terms, conditions, limitations, and expiry dates
   
• Coupons have no cash value and may not be resold
   

thefundraiser.ca is not responsible for:

• A business’s refusal to honour a coupon used outside its stated terms
   
• Changes to a business’s operations, hours, or availability
   

• Fundraising groups do not collect money directly from purchasers
   
• All transactions are processed by the platform
   
• Payouts are issued after campaign completion and verification
   
• Commission rates and payout timelines are governed by separate agreements
   

We reserve the right to withhold payments in cases of fraud, misuse, or breach of platform rules.

Businesses submitting coupons confirm that:

• They have the authority to offer the promotion
   
• The coupon terms are accurate and clear
   
• They will honour valid coupons as advertised
   

Participation is promotional only. No sales, traffic, or redemption guarantees are provided.

All content on the Website, including but not limited to:

• Text
   
• Logos
   
• Graphics
   
• Software
   
• Campaign structures
   

is owned by or licensed to thefundraiser.ca and is protected under Canadian intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or exploit any content without prior written consent.

You agree not to:

• Use the Website for unlawful, misleading, or fraudulent purposes
   
• Misrepresent yourself, a business, or a fundraising group
   
• Attempt to access restricted areas or systems
   
• Scrape, copy, or reverse-engineer platform data or software
   

Violations may result in immediate termination of access.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, thefundraiser.ca shall not be liable for:

• Lost profits or fundraising outcomes
   
• Business disputes or coupon redemption issues
   
• Technical interruptions or third-party service failures
   
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
   

Use of the Website is at your own risk.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless thefundraiser.ca, its owners, contractors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Website
   
• Your participation in campaigns
   
• Your violation of these Terms
   

We may suspend or terminate access to the Website at any time, without notice, if:

• These Terms are violated
   
• Fraud or misuse is suspected
   
• Continued access may harm the platform or its users
   

Your use of the Website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how personal information is collected, used, and protected under Canadian law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the applicable laws of the Province of British Columbia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
